At Da Dank Seed Bank, we have been growing and breeding cannabis strains for the last 10 years on the Island of Oahu. These strains have acclimated to the unpredictable, hot and humid weather and have passed the test without rain cover.
Our plants are mainly selected based on effects. Positive effects are a must for our bodies to enjoy life and heal. As we love this plant dearly, we connect with different strains in many ways. Depending on the day, your mood, or energy you are seeking, we offer strains for any moment. We will gladly recommend strains based upon your specific needs!
Our team uses natural and organic growing practices to produce our flowers and seeds. We focus heavily on composting, organic top dress amendments, and methods such as JADAM and fermentation techniques. We take pride in not using any synthetic fertilizer as we feel organic/natural inputs produce superior flowers, builds soil heath over time, and preserves our seeds the best over time.
These hybrids that have been bred with the Oaxacan males have passed the test to thrive in the moist/ hot climate on Oahu to produce dank sativa flowers. All of these do very well outdoors and thrive in shady areas depending on the phenotype. If indoors, should flip to flower on the early and short side as they can stretch depending on the pheno. Topping is also a good idea if grown indoors to maintain height and to increase bud sites... Stretchy female phenos will most likely resemble her fath
These offsprings are true sativa. The high is uplifting and relaxing, not overwhelming. Very unique fox tail buds that have so many bud sites, all up the stem. Flowering time isn't too long compared most landrace sativa strains. Grows very well in shady areas compared to compared to indica strains. Stretch can go x2-x5 when flipped to flower. Limey, earthy, spicey, piney aroma. These will fully finish flowering unlike some sativas that seem like they never stop.
Dutch Treat grows dense and yields insanely good. A cross of NL5 and Haze, dominant in the Afghan category as the nugs are chunky. I wanted sativa to be mixed in with this strain to give it some space in between the nugs and nodes, and it came out stellar. The Dutch Treat has a super chill high that made you down for whatever, effects are smooth just like the Oaxacan. A match made in heaven for the people who like da old school shit. Frosty dank big nugged sativa that will please anyone.
Two very dank sisters (Strawberry Tahoe x Bubblegum x Romulan) were selected for their relaxing indica dominant effects that leave you feeling stoned and blissful. Very good numbing effects. Both sisters produce gorgeous flowers and are very beautiful. One pheno being Strawberry dominant and the other Romulan dominant. These mixed with the Oaxacan are delightful in effects and to the eye. This is for the ones who love sweet aromas and a positive potent high.
The Hawaiian Gift is a 40 year old indica that is rumored to be Afghan x Hindu. I wanted to make a Hindu bx to unlock some recessive traits. the resulting strain is potent enough to feel a smooth buzz and chill enough where you most likely won't be tripping out in the peak of the high... which is common in today's world of insanely high thc strains. The Hindu male leveled the potency of The Gift which was exactly the plan. This strain is great for the chillers and for people for a classic high.
I love the outcome of this cross, it's just amazing to see. The queen Indica of Oahu and champion of a sativa from completely different areas. You'll see some that take after The Gift, and some that will take after The Oaxacan, and some that are a mix of both. This F1 Hybrid is gonna be fun to look through and pass around with the buddies, it's such a good hangout strain, this cross will make you go... ahhh this is da danks from back in the day.
Sour D. OG was found from seed from Cali Connection. The absolute badass of a female, citrusy as can be, and dank as fuck. I can't stress enough how special this cut is to me. She crushes the AJ, Weasel, ECSD cuts in so many categories. Sure, those cuts are nice, but this one grows so well and strong on Oahu unlike those cuts. When cut early, feels just like SD. Slightly more indica because of the OG in it, adding this Oaxacan will add some clear-headed - on your tippy toes high back to her.
The plant selected was a chilled out Sour D. OG, that yielded exceptionally well and had a way cleaner buzz compared to the face melting Sour D OG. Less citrus but with added nug size and pod formation, and a way stronger structure compared to her lanky mother. Which was the goal along with adding The Hindu chill buzz to it. These are gonna be great to grow indoor and out. Have seen some look very similar to the Sour D. OG mother. This plant will crush it in colder dryer weather.
Garlix is a discontinued strain from Green Point Seeds with a pedigree from Chem DD and Star Dawg, and damn does she smack hard. The chronics love her, but the average smoker might not be able to handle, great for mixing with alcohol or shrooms. The Oaxacan chills it out a bit and makes it better in my opinion. Very unique and frosty. Great sativa to add to your arsenal.
Blue Rhino 1947 stems from the old school Blueberry, White Rhino, AK47. This outcome of this cross is probably the least pretty in my library, it's great for just smokin a doobie with the bros outside of the pub and not getting too high, kind of like a cigarette. Definitely a "mids" type of strain, suitable for people who don't like to get super high and just like the act of smoking. Does not stink up the place, can be grown next to a police station and they wouldn't even know it's there.
Transkei is an African strain from SOS seeds. These produce a clear headed sativa high, kind of similar to the Oaxacan but different at the same time. First puff is very mild in effects and is great for morning tokers who need to get shit done and not be distracted from a debilitating high. Fun pure sativa to grow and use and will come with extra! Very lanky and can be grown in shady areas, does not require much nutrition.
Sports Bra x Oaxacan has a nice indica-like stone that hits deep, and buds get super thick... This cross would crush indoors and out. The Oaxacan helps her with bud spacing and to air out her denseness... lots of crazy phenos to be found. Not the most photogenic plant either but high is delightful. The smell of this plant are what the name suggests, used sweaty sports bras.
Blue Dream Bx1 feels like a heavy Blue Dream... not as heady/ sativa like. She gets fat nugs that frost up nicely. The Oaxacan will help spread out her fatty nugs and add some much needed sativa to the experience. If you want some free seeds, I'll gladly give these up as long as shipping is paid for! ($10). This cross is not a great representation of my seeds... Just giving them up if you're short on cash and just want to grow something for fun!!! Throw them around town or in the woods!
Pele's Sword was an old school Oahu Thai Hybrid. This strain makes the offspring purp out! Great for indoor and does well outdoors!
G-13 bagseed - A hashy provider and overall a sweet/ sticky/ gassy bud, with a super smooth and potent indica stone. Makes your eyes bloodshot very fast. Great for indoor and out, no support needed, this strain has strong stalks. Very medicinal in effects. One of my all time favorites...
The Hawaiian Gift is a classic island indica that has been around for supposedly 40 years in clone form. Everyone was growing it on the North Shore of Oahu back in the 70's - 90's. It is rumored to be Afghani x Hindu Kush. Psychedelic high and perfect for relaxing, can also aid with sleep... of course the pele's sword may add a bit of sativa to this but I've seen phenos look and smoke like The Gift! Truly a gift to have in the garden.
The Bubblegum was such an impressive indica-dom clone. I can see why this heavy yielding and potent strain has been kept around because she is legendary in so many ways. One to two hits are magical with a feel good happy high. Super interesting phenos to be found, Bubblegum was more of an indica while The Pele's Sword is predominantly Sativa, they both grow very differently, I've seen these seeds show a lot of variation. I look for the bubblegum smelling type! Some phenos are strange just FYI!
This strain was a fun experiment, the mother of this cross was impressive, nice social buzz that made you feel content and chill... Never overwhelming... Shes killer in yield, looks, and high... checking my favorite effect - smooth high. Flowering time may be longer to get purple hues... The Peles sword adds more purple to this cross! This one has stellar bag appeal with pretty purply nugs. Smells like crystal light powder straight out of the bag... Dank as fuck
GG Wedding Mints has nice nugs that look like GG4. Handles the Hawaiian weather very well, social buzzy high great for night or day, felt both relaxing and energizing... The Pele Sword Male will definitely give it a more uppy feel, but it depends on the pheno of course! The mother GGWM can be grown for an extra 2 weeks to ripen to full density and turn purple.... This strain mixed with the Pele will crush it indoors and out.
Black Willie was a lime green pheno compared to her sisters that were blackish. The smell and looks of it were just down right beautiful and unique. Pines and lemons, super heady high, good bag appeal, and grows easy... what more can you ask for. These two combo's are very compatible along with the personalities they both share. One strange thing I've noticed with this combo is that more males pop up than females... so more seeds will be added to a pack just in case this happens.
The NL5 mother was a bag seed found in Lake Tahoe, California. The genetics are a mystery as I don't know if it was pollinated by another male or was stressed into producing a single seed. I have never seen show any hermie traits. Smoothest strain of all time. Truly a medicinal high and the offspring of these crosses are beautiful. Reeking of grapes and berries and frosty as can be... This one is special to me. Though with the Pele, it adds sativa to the mix so some phenos will be very strong.
This mother was a true sativa with purple hues, I am excited to see it thrive in other people's gardens. The Pele will add that frost and sativa buzz to her and also limit the amount of stretch is has so indoors is a great option for sativa lovers that want faster flowering plants compared to landrace sativas. Nice air to density ratio for a sativa with heady effects.
Wowzers is for the dank heads looking for the frost and potency of Girlscout Cookie with a Thai spin on it. Very pretty strain, super heavy indica dominant. Pele's Sword compliments this one nicely, doesn't bring her down at all, lifts it way up actually with her sativa buzz and gooeyness. Adds some needed space between the nugs for outdoor growing and makes her danker in my opinion. Purps are on the horizon for this one.
Full Moon Fever Male from Green Point Seeds... Weirdly, every single seed in 2 packs of seeds were male. 1 was selected to move on. The NL5 is NOT the same as the known pine smelling kind. This one smells exactly like grapes and berries... She is my favorite kind of flower to look at and smoke.
These crosses will put you into outer space without you knowing... creepers for sure... Some of these can put you into the brink of a different realm. There is a great amount of variation in looks with these. Psychedelic highs and frost monsters are imbedded in all of the offspring. Can show fox taily phenos as well as rock hard dense hashy phenos. One of my favorite vigorous growing seeds in the library.
This will show a grape pheno or a lime pheno, more so with the grape since it's a backcross to the NL5... but the lime pheno still shows up from the Full Moon Fever Male side as it is a very dominant male influence in the offsping. This one would be perfect for indoor, outdoor is ok but dry cold climates are preferred because the buds can get dense and cutting early should be considered if the area is moist and if the buds get over 80% humidity.
Look for the grape pheno, the high is amazing and stays shorter than its mother City Sativa from TopDawg... the city sativa pheno smells like lemons and limes.. Of course you may find something very special and different like all of these F1 seeds available. The high on this cross is soaring and perfect for sativa lovers. Stony bologna for sure.
Jager Dawg = Jagerschnitzel x West Coast Dog. He adds a shit ton of terps, purps, and a strong euphoric indica like high. Absolutely stunning flowers that will impress indoor and outdoor growers. Thrives best in dry cold climates but still handles on Oahu. For best results, flower these plants earlier so they can focus on bud growth.
Jagermeister x West Coast Dog.... She was the runt of the litter, slowest growing and smallest in height, but with the best high of them all. Insane candy smell and heavy yielder. Super potent hybrid high that has an aphrodisiac effect on people. Dense purple beautiful buds bound to be seen in these offspring. A must for growers who are looking for potency and bag appeal.
Holy Grail was found from a seed from Mr. Nice seeds... Basically Afghan x Haze. This strain is my holy grail... Out of about 30 females, this was the only one that was an absolute all star in every catagory. The rest were cool, some not so great, but this one was just incredible. like a morning coffee without the jitters after 1-2 hits, if hit more it can be debilitating. Shes truly amazing and i have kept her around for a few years now. The Jager Dawg male adds purps and a indica stone.
This was an interesting cross, one that looked very similar to the gift with an extra punch to its high. Grew strong and looked nice and hashy. Very cool and different phenos to be found. With the addition of the Jager Dog, the danks will be easily found and patients will be very happy with this old school hawaiian-ized gift. A good positive high to use day and night and lots of variation in the effects depending on cut time and the pheno.
2 types of aromatic Tulsi Basil
Incredible smell and a good bug magnet. All the bugs that will create a healthy balance in your ecosystem / garden will flock to these flowers. These flowers and leaves can be used as a garnish or steeped in water to make a tea. Pull off the flowers; leaves and stems will continue to grow and bush out!
These seeds could be crossed with the Purple Tulsi Basil variety since they were right next to each other during flowering, and bees were everywhere. Very unique variety... soft, almost hairy leaf, with a smooth subtle smell that resembles mint. Flowers bloom white and bees love this plant. A beautiful addition to your garden if you want to attract pollinators.
2 Different Varities
This flower turns pink when it blooms. Used in tradition cigar making, these plants can grow into 7-20 foot trees if planted in the ground and taken care of. Keep pulling off the flowers and pods, and leaves will continue to grow!!!
This variety is the most potent in the world. Used for ceremonial purposes. These flowers turn whiteish green and are a joy to have in the garden.

Wow this cross is sexy to say the least... the Strawberry Tahoe was the plant with the best bag appeal in my library, with no cookie genetics at all in its lineage. Effects are dreamy, chill, and potent. Nugs get perectly dense, half the phenos will turn purple if not all of them with time, and all of these seeds will impress. Just an all out joy to have in the garden. Highly recommend for people with pain and like potent indica dom highs.
This crossing resulting in something that is very special... a high that everyone can smoke and does not cause anxiety. Beautiful flowers will entice you to come back and sample this strain as well as the effects are soft, inviting, and relaxing. Unlike the mother, Sour D OG which can hit like a freight train, the father of this cross really chilled it out and brought some soul to mix. Giving it a user-friendly vibe when smoked or ingested and easy to grow indoors and out.
Untested but are 100% going to be a treat to grow and smoke, the NL5 pheno was found from AG seed co, and it was a gem out of 30 females. This one reeked of pines and had very strong effects along with stellar mold resistance and a large harvest. Very interested to see what these turn into and I will be pheno hunting these soon...
The Afghan Haze x Oaxacan was a tall bushy sativa looking plant but had a super potent indica type high. The type of high that makes you feel like you need to go lay down and sleep. Really nice for a late afternoon rainy day where you plan on watching a movie and chilling out... The new addition of ST x JD makes this cross way more frostier and danker looking and better in effect, resulting in a smoother more functional stone. Not fully tested.
